3DTV PALY GHOST IMAGE

To prove that glasses free 3DTV does not need to be shown on a tiny screen, Samsung’s new prototype 3DTV comes on a massive 55 inch screen and is completely glasses free. Currently for the glasses free 3D to be effective, it needs to be shown on a small screen such as the Nintendo 3ds.samsung 3dtv glasses free 300x225 Samsung 55in Glasses Free 3DTV Supports 9 Viewing AnglesThe glasses free 3DTV sets currently in development have the problem of seeing the 3D effect at all viewing angles which is not an issue with the technology on handheld gadgets. Unless you were able to predict the direction that the viewer was watching from, the 3D could not be experienced in any real sense of the word.

With the handheld devices, it is easy to predict where a user’s eyes are going to be that they will need to hold the unit with both of their hands. It appears that Samsung’s new 3DTV is said to have fixed that drawback. The new prototype which was shown in China at a trade show, is not perfect but supports up to 9 different viewpoints. According to the manufacturer, the viewers are going to be able to get glasses free 3DTV whilst viewing from up to 9 different angles in front of the 3DTV.This feature alone makes the device stand apart and is perhaps the best solution amongst the glasses free 3DTV sets we know about. The 3DTV is furnished with a LCD panel whose optical refraction index can be changed in front of another LCD panel incorporated in the device which is used for displaying images. The first LCD panel functions as a lens and shows different images to the right and left eyes. The change in optical refraction index leads to 3D viewing and otherwise will result in 2D images. The 3DTV also offers full HDTV at 1080p and a brightness of 500cd/m2 and also a static contrast ratio of 4,000:1The only problem is that the TV may not be with us for three long years (which is exactly how long James Cameron said to wait before buying 3DTV). By that time there will probably be lots of glasses free 3DTV sets for sale.

Well this is gonna be hard to explain. I have had the nvidia 3d Vision kit since June with the Alienware desktop monitor that is on the list and everything has always worked flawlessly. (I love this thing). But just this week I purchased a Samsung UN46C7000 series 3D Tv and was psyched to find out that nvidia released this 3dtv play update to allow it to work with 3d Tv's.
Now everything is up and running and the 3d Works but I have noticed that there is a major issue happening. Even though the 3d is working correctly, there is what I call a "Shadow Image" or "Ghost Image" of whats on screen that starts just above the halfway point of the tv horozontaly. Its like the image has been sliced in half and its only showing a faint ghostly image of it on the top half of the screen along with the normal 3d game. Image a perfect 3d image but behind it on the top half of the screen only is a ghost image of the same thing, like a white/clear shadow of the image. This happens not only in none 3d enabled games like say a bioshock 2 or dead space. But it happens with 3d vision ready games such as Batman:AA and COD: Black Ops.

Say I shoot an exploding barrel in Black ops the giant ball of fire dosn't start on the ground at the conister. Its actually cut off at the middle of the screen and only shows the top half of the burst. Now everything is in 3d still but theres almost this 3rd imaage glitch going on. Bioshock 2 the water puddles look wrong also. I have to close one eye to see them otherwise it looks like a graphical glitch. (Something that didn't happen with the Alienware approved monitor.) And something like Darksiders which didn't render correctly on the alienware but was still playable, is now completly unplayable. The whole screen is a mess. Almost like MMO's when you "Fall through the game"Anyone know any settings I can tweek. I am running my games at 1280x720 at 60hz. Movies look awesome, the nvidia test logo looks awesome and for the most part the 3d looks good, I just have this crazy "ghost image" floating around the top half of the screen.
